Advantage Financial Network began with conviction, not convenience. Before AMS was formed, both founders had already built significant organizations. Danny Hockenberger built and led a 1,000+ agent financial services organization across the West Coast. Dr. Charles Dudley built and led a 1,000+ agent organization in internet marketing and small-business growth across the East Coast. Between them came thousands of trained professionals, thousands of satisfied small-business clients, and decades of B2B leadership experience. Both served in the United States Army in their youth, shaping a culture grounded in discipline, mission clarity, and responsibility for people. 

AMS was launched after discovering a compliant way for small businesses to accept electronic payments without absorbing the burden of processing fees. The message was simple: Take Charge. Business owners were empowered to keep more revenue, improve cash flow, and strengthen financial stability before the challenges of COVID reshaped the marketplace. 

As COVID impacted small businesses nationwide, the mission deepened into The Great American Small Business Rescue. The focus became stabilizing revenue, reducing unnecessary costs, improving financial systems, and repositioning businesses for sustainable growth. This era strengthened the agency blueprint and matured the leadership structure. 

The rebrand to Advantage Profit Systems reflected an expanded mission: not just eliminating fees, but optimizing profit across broader financial systems. Services expanded into funding solutions, tax credits, margin enhancement strategies, and comprehensive cash-flow improvement tools. 

Following Danny’s semi-retirement from daily executive leadership, the company relaunched as Advantage Financial Network. AvFN represents a nationwide network of agency leaders and service providers integrating modern payment systems, cryptocurrency capabilities, AI-powered business efficiency tools, and future-ready financial modernization strategies. 

Technology must serve people, not replace them. AvFN is high tech and high touch. We build relationships, develop leaders, and form a nationwide team of passionate crusaders committed to strengthening American small businesses and expanding meaningful opportunity. We believe in the entrepreneurial spirit and in succeeding by helping others succeed. 

Danny Hockenberger and Dr. Charles Dudley are strong Christian men, devoted husbands, veterans, entrepreneurs, coaches, and mentors. Danny resides in the greater Chattanooga, Tennessee area with his wife, Dr. Gloria Daniels, and remains an advisor and mentor to the network. Dr. Charles serves as CEO and President of APS and AvFN. He resides in the Roanoke, Virginia area with his wife, Dr. Kimberly Dudley. Together they serve as ordained ministers and Associate Pastors while leading business and national team responsibilities. Faith. Family. Country. Service. These are lived values within AvFN.
